‘The Voice’: Sasha Alllen Eliminated — Why She Should Have Won – Hollywood Life

Sasha Allen Should Have Made It To ‘The Voice’ Finale

Sasha was eliminated on the June 11 episode of 'The Voice,' and I'm NOT happy about it. After taking on both Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, there's no way she should have gone home! This season of The Voice has got to be one of the most shocking ever. While all the contestants are extremely talented, for some reason the better singers were sent home early. Then, right before the finale, we said goodbye to Sasha Allen -- the most powerful singer on the entire show!

Sasha Allen: The Elimination That Shocked Us All

We all know I was really upset after the elimination of both Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons on May 28. I think it may have broken my heart, along with their coach Adam Levine‘s.

But I had faith because, along with Blake Shelton‘s amazing country team, we still had Shakira‘s bombshell, Sasha.

On June 3, the coaches dubbed her Sasha Fierce after her two super-powerful performances. She proved she was daring, taking on Aretha Franklin and Carrie Underwood.

Then on June 11, she took on the unthinkable — Whitney Houston‘s “I Will Always Love You,” as well as Donna Summer‘s “Sexy Girls.”

Honestly, those are four extremely difficult artists to take on. And not only did Sasha nail the vocals, but she also put on stunning performance after performance — always impressing and entertaining.

‘The Voice’ Final 3: Who Will Take It All?

After the eliminations, Team Adam and Team Shakira were officially out of the game. Now it’s a three-way battle between country duo Swon Brothers and 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery — both members of Team Blake — and Usher‘s Michelle Chamuel.

While all three put on great performances last week, we’ve got a feeling that since Sasha is gone, it will come down to either Danielle or Michelle. Country fans love Danielle; at just 16, she has a strong voice and adorable charm.

Michelle, however, is loved by so many. She doesn’t have the best voice, but has incredible energy and such a positive message for other young artists: Be yourself, and be the best you can be! It’s definitely working; people are voting and loving her.

That leaves the Swon Brothers. As a country girl, I would definitely buy this duo’s album; they have that adorable “Okie from Muskogee” charm and would really stand out in the country world. Unfortunately, what they don’t have is the star factor of Michelle and Danielle.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Sasha should have made it to the finale?
