Is it really necessary to show Amanda’s daughter’s face in the video? You people truly live up to the stereotypical “vulture” behavior so popular in hack publishers like yourselves. How about you focus on writing poignant, well written articles instead of attention-seeking crap?

Why is this guy a writer? Has no right to call Amanda a sex slave. She did not ask to be hostage.

No respect.

Fire chris rodgers asap.

I feel the same. Referring to these girls as sex slave is absolutely horrible.
I am just absolutely baffled at the insensitivity.
These are real people with real feelings.
My heart just hurts for them.

Referring to Ms. Berry as a “sex slave” who “birthed” a daughter is degrading, insulting, and inexcusable. Be ashamed, be very ashamed, awful writer.

Disgusted with the reference to Amanda as ‘former sex slave’. She was a child that was abducted and that suffered at the hands of a very disturbed and evil man. She’s not a celebrity that has behaved I appropriately and earned herself that title. You should be ashamed ofyourselves for writing this and making a mockery of what this girl went through.

I think it’s very inconsiderate and disrespectful to call her a former sex slave.

We all know the story of Amanda Berry. She is a person who was held capitive for a decade. To call her a former sex slave is defining her by something that happened to her not who she is. As someone who has been raped I can tell you that I would rather not be known for what happened to me. Let’s remember that she is a real person going through something we could never imagine and be sensitive to that. Amanda Berry to me is a woman who had the unimaginable happen to her but now has fought her way to freedom. She is a hero. And she deserves freedom from the titles the media thinks they have the right to give her.

I agree, that statement is heartless. She did not CHOOSE to be a hostage to a sick and twisted individual. It’s sad to know how insinsitive and sensational media can be. These girls are in my heart and wish nothing but the best for there future.
