It’s one of those age-old questions that we thought would never get answered, but on Apr. 14 Miley finally explained why she’s always braless! Keep reading to find out her reason.
Miley Cyrus, she of natural inclinations, has never really been concerned with supporting her “twins” with a bra, as we’ve seen again and again (and again and again). On Apr. 14, she finally revealed her braless ways, re-tweeting an article on a French scientific study that says brassieres are “a false necessity” and may actually be harmful.
Miley Cyrus: Doing The Healthy Thing By Going Braless
“& people called me crazy! thank you,” Miley tweeted, along with the link to Huffington Post’s article on the French study. The study — which of course is French — was conducted over 15 years and found that wearing a bra provides no benefit to women and may actually be harmful.
“The breast does not benefit from being deprived of gravity,” said Jean-Denis Rouillon, a professor at the University of Franche-Comte. Music to Miley’s ears. The study also found that the women who did not wear bras in the study developed more muscle tissue to provide natural support. AND, Jean-Denis noticed that the women’s nipples gained higher lift. Hear that, Liam Hemsworth?
Miley Cyrus’ Braless Ways Affirmed By French Study
Not that Miley knew any of this before she became the queen of the braless, but still, she’s obviously thrilled that her natural, free inclinations have been affirmed by a scientific study. Now she’ll definitely never wear a bra!
However, we hope Miley read the whole study. Jean-Denis also stated that it’d be dangerous to advise all women to take off their bras, because the study may not be representative of the entire gender.
But let’s be honest, that’s not going to stop Miley from going braless. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
