Movie sets can be wild places, but usually the crazy action on-screen is only of the pretend variety. As Spring Breakers star Ashley Benson revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively, that wasn’t exactly the case with her new film. Some of the extras in the party scenes, who were actual spring breakers, weren’t always just pretending to be debaucherous!
Ashley Benson On ‘Spring Breakers’ Extras
When HollywoodLife.com caught up with Ashley and her co-stars during a press conference for the film at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Mar. 16, she revealed that the craziness in the movie was quite real! “Everything that we saw that was crazy, you see in the movie,” the Pretty Little Liars star told us. “The party scenes were pretty insane; girls were getting completely naked like about to have sex or something and we were just witnessing it.”
Ashley On How She Chooses Roles
Ashley also told us about whether she felt any pressure by the image she has from her ABC Family show when it comes to selecting roles. ” I don’t know. I mean my show has older fans,” she said. “There are younger ones that watch it but I mean for me, I wanted to do this movie because it was so different from who I am on the show and what I’ve done previous so I just thought of it as a great opportunity and a new experience so I really didn’t want to think about what the fans would think.”
