When ‘The Vampire Diaries’ returns with new episodes March 14, fans will have a whole new reason to be terrified of organized sports.
We all knew Elena (Nina Dobrev) would be ‘different’ after losing Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), but rejoining the Mystic Falls High School cheerleading squad? That’s not making progress, that’s regressing! Either way, the March 14 episode of The Vampire Diaries — appropriately titled “Bring It On” — finds Elena shaking her pom-poms yet again, but Caroline (Candice Accola) quickly realizes this might actually be making Elena’s problems worse.
“Her pleasure turns to shock when Elena’s behavior proves dangerous,” according to The CW’s official description of the episode.
Elena rejoining the squad is part of Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) plan to normalize the off-kilter doppelganger, but like most of their plans, this one clearly goes up in smoke.
Three More Spoilers From ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 4, Episode 16
1. Damon and Rebekah (Claire Holt) continue searching for the cure, but Damon’s “unwanted advice catches her off-guard.” Who wants to bet his advice is, “Stay away from Stefan?” Anybody?
2. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) makes an “interesting discovery” while trying to squeeze information out of Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). Perhaps this “discovery” will explain why the seemingly irrelevant she-wolf is starring on The Vampire Diaries‘ spin-off, The Originals!
3. Elena gets bored and throws a “wild party,” which leads to an “ugly fight.” (God, I hope she fights April and kills her.)
What do you make of these new spoilers? Are you excited to see Elena cheering again? What do you think, or hope, Klaus will learn about Hayley? Watch HollywoodLife.com‘s tribute to the late-great Jeremy Gilbert below, then drop a comment with your thoughts and theories:

Plz Plz klaus, Damon, stefan and elena, Ok even bonnie… Team up and beat Katherine in the name of Jeremy…Ok Ok i saw the look in kat’s eyes when she realized that given Jeremy’s neck was not a good idea, but i cant help it….i really hate her right now. We’re all dying to see elena playing bad…with Damon and stefan checking her moves (i strongly believe that the blood part will be only Damon handling). Stefan’s face while the house burnt out was so sad:( all memories he shared with elena just gone with the flames…was thats the reason he was the one who looked back? And then Damon and elena were moving forward?! Like stefan still stuck in the past, and delena just moved on….anyways…

I’m glad Hayley is leaving the show, not so much for Klaus. I like him on the show. He makes it so much more exciting. I wish April was leaving though. It should be interesting to see Elena as a cheerleader again, but I was glad when she was past that. Maybe this change in Elena will make her more forceful against Caroline and Bonnie. I loved it when she told them to get the heck out of the house when she was taking up for Damon. I would love to see more of that. Hopefully also, she will get closer to Damon and Julie will let those two grow a little.

I agree with your comment. April is just so boring and adds no value to the show. Have no idea why she is still in it. I think Delena should be given more of a chance and Julie should givee Stefan more room to move on. Its ridiculous that he forgave Elena so quickly for sleeping with Damon. His brother, reallyy!!!His character was actually getting interesting when he was pretending to not love her. I wish Jeremy can come back, I loved his character so much.

Like Brother To Damon And Loving son To Cryason And Miranda And Died Off A Extremely Dangerous Silas Who Taken A Life Off Jeremy He Was A Good-Lad And Now Going To-Be
A Late-Uncle Off Damon’s And ELena’s To-Be Unborn-Child Jeremy Would Be A Loving
Uncle I Know Jeremy Would Be Stubourn But Deep Deep Down He’s A Good-Boy So
Long Jeremy MAy The God Be With You
