Justin is so not over Britney! At the DirecTV Super Bowl party on Feb. 2, the ‘Suit & Tie’ singer referred to Britney as a ‘bitch’ for cheating on him, back in 2002.
Justin Timberlake rocked the house at the Super Bowl DirecTV party on Feb. 2, performing “Suit & Tie,” alongside Jay-Z, introducing new songs from his upcoming album, and blasting his ex, Britney Spears – calling her a “bitch”!
Justin Timberlake Calls Britney Spears A Bitch
A HollywoodLife.com reporter, who attended the event, told us that before performing “Cry Me A River,” Justin, 32, said, ”Sometimes in life, you think you found the one. But then one day you find out, that she is just some bitch!” Wow!
It’s been known for years that Justin’s hit song was about Britney, 31, and how she allegedly cheated on him with choreographer Wade Robson.
Justin Timberlake Confirms ‘Cry Me A River’ Is About Britney Spears
In an E! True Hollywood Story special about Timbaland, which aired in 2002, the producer says, “He went to a concert and saw Britney, and Britney talked about him in the show and he was pissed.”
Justin further explains, “I was on a phone call that was not the most enjoyable phone call. I walked into the studio and he (Timbaland) could tell I was visibly angry.”
Timbaland recalls, “I was like, ‘Man, don’t worry about it’ and he was like, ‘I can’t believe she did that to me’ and he was like, ‘You were my sun, you were my earth…’”
Britney and Justin broke up that year. The song, of course, earned Justin a Grammy Award in 2004.
We wonder how Jessica Biel feels about this. She’s married to Justin, and he apparently still cares about how Britney hurt him.
