Plus, Blaine confesses his love for another man and Rachel invites Brody to move in with her.

On the Jan. 24 episode of Glee, the members of New Directions act on their feelings when the girls ask the guys to the first annual Sadie Hawkins dance. However, the students of McKinley High are not the only ones acting on some newfound feelings.

Lima, Ohio

Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) convinces the school to put on the first annual Sadie Hawkins dance, where the girls ask the guys out. Inspired by this event, Finn (Cory Monteith) requests that the girls of New Directions sing a song of their choice to a guy in the group, thus asking them to the dance as well. It seems like a fun idea until Tina starts serenading Blaine (Darren Criss). Sadly (but definitely not shockingly), Blaine turns her down. Tina is floored.

While you may think you know why Blaine turned down Tina, think again. It’s not because she’s a woman — it’s because she’s not who he currently has a crush on! Blaine breaks down and tells Tina that he has a crush on… Sam (Chord Overstreet)! (I’m going to be completely honest and say that I’m totally on board this ship. BLAM!)

Aside from these two odd, but cute crushes we have on our hands, much of the Ohio storyline revolved around Sam trying to figure out how The Warblers could have cheated at sectionals. Surprisingly, he cracked the mystery with a few yearbook photos and one useful cellphone video.

Apparently, The Warblers took steroids and that’s how they did all those crazy flips during sectionals, helping them come out on top!

Sam may have saved the glee club, and I’m almost positive that makes him even more sexy in Blaine’s eyes.

New York, New York

While Rachel (Lea Michele) continues advancing her relationship with Brody (Dean Geyer), Kurt (Chris Colfer) meets a new friend at NYADA.

Feeling a bit lost as a new student, Kurt ventures out to find an extracurricular activity to partake in. After spotting a flyer for The Adam’s Apples, a show choir group, Kurt meets the group’s leader, Adam (Oliver Kieran-Jones), who urges him to join.

While Rachel insists it’d be career suicide, Kurt can’t help but follow his gut — and his feelings. Mr. Hummel appears to have a crush on Adam. In fact, Kurt follows Adam around campus, pretending to accidentally run into him. Finally, after three or four run-ins, Kurt musters up the courage to ask Adam for his number.

Meanwhile, Rachel appears to be absolutely enamored with Brody. That is, until he shows up 45 minutes late to a dinner she prepared. Rachel puts her foot down, insisting she won’t put up with such behavior. However, Brody uses some smooth moves while apologizing and Rachel ends up asking him to move in with her!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should The Warblers be disqualified? Are you a fan of BLAM? Sound off below!

Errr…NO, ADAM ran into KURT a few times. And ADAM knew who KURT was, the first time they met, having seen the Winter Showcase performance/audition. And ADAM made the first couple of flirty comments. Kurt simply took Rachel’s advice and asked Adam sort of out AFTER that.

This was a fun episode, all round :) Fun songs – even “Baby Got Back” was fun, when done by the Adam’s Apples. Now I can’t get it out of my head, sometimes. It was great to see the fun, flirty interaction between Kurt & Adam (and the high school/college comparison was right on). Rachel seems a bit snobby these days, but things will even out, I’m sure.

Brody is still a waste of space ;( While he seems an ok fellow, there’s no depth or complexity. And not much fun – just a bod.

I’m glad that Kurt has met a new friend at NYADA and was surprised when Rachel asked Brody to move in with her. I also liked that there was a Sadie Hawkins style dance. I was at work at DISH when this was on but I didn’t miss it. I recorded it on my DISH Hopper using the PrimeTime Anytime feature. I have this set up to record all primetime programming. This is really convenient because I don’t have to worry about setting up any individual timers for my favorite shows.

um actually….Kurt only initiated the final run-in when he asked for Adam’s number. The rest were either coincidence, or by Adam’s design.

… Tina for Blaine, understandable. Blaine is like, so hot for girls’ eyes, he’s gay but pretty different from Kurt’s gay.
… Blaine for Sam, well I think the writers want him to walk down the path where Kurt was before Kurt met Blaine. (He was also crushing on Sam, remember?)
I like Adam, too, and I like the song (ha ha).
The group’s name is so hilarious… Adam’s Apples? seriously?? hahahahahahahahaha LOL LOL
However, I’m all for Kurt’s happiness allllll the waayyy ! and I think the guy’s really good looking and a good competitor for Blaine!
… (and also the accent, honestly, very exciting and refreshing to listen amongst all the other cast!)

Though I hope he will have more songs that are more meaningful such as the ones Blaine used to perform for Kurt, just to make the story more logical! Please please make the future episodes be an interesting competition between A & B for K..! (maybe sing off, duet battle, romance plot battle, anything good..!)

I do personally see that the episode is just plain funny and relaxing-entertaining without any serious plot for the ongoing romance. We should applause that! :)
