Selena Gomez Strips Down In New 'Spring Breakers' Trailer -- Watch

MTV News has a brand new, full-length trailer of Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine and James Franco in their edgy new film Spring Breakers. Watch it below and tell us what you think — warning, it’s definitely not for the Disney crowd!

MTV recently caught up with the cast. “It is nerve-racking because we’ve stripped ourselves down and [the movie] is so raw and bare,” Vanessa says. “And the fact that [early screenings were] received so well is such an accomplishment, it’s an honor. It gets a physical reaction. You watch the movie and your stomach is literally in knots. It’s just amazing that you can push an audience so far to feel something.”

Selena has the most to prove, since this role is the exact opposite of her Disney days on Wizards of Waverly Place:

“After my show ended, going from that to this was an extreme but it was so incredibly liberating and something that I was so proud of and I learned a lot and it was just a great experience,” Selena says.

Ashley recently told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “The person I play is insane. I’m actually very excited for people to see that side of me, because I’ve never played anything like this character. [Fans are] going to see me in a completely different light. I don’t know how they’ll take it, but I think they’ll like it. … It’s rated R, so don’t see it if you’re not able to!”

The Plot Of The Film

According to IMDb, the movie is about “Four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.”

Like it or not, Selena, or anyone in her position that has a young fan base has a responsibility. She was made famous by younger girls that WILL find a way to watch this movie. i would hate to be her promoting such filth to anyone, especially a young audience. This is really a very sad move on her behalf..

I am so traumatized and upset that Salena gomez who I loved from Disney channel is now in a movie like this. She is even worse then Miley Cyrus.

U’re saying she should be done with disney before shooting this movie, remember selena is 20! And this movie is R rated, fans under 18 are not gonna see this movie, the alex vs alex is meant for her younger fans while spring breakers is meant for her older fans. Did u forget that selena has fans that are 25? Am 18 & am gonna see this movie, my sis is 13 and she’s not gonna see this movie, she’s got alex vs alex to watch.

Oh My!!!!!!!!!!!. Remember when everyone was hating on Miley Cyrus after Hannah Montana ended and she came out with the song/music video for Can’t be tamed. This is way more extreme, but I am sure Selena will be praised for her artistic ability in this film, I here there is a Wizards of Waverly Place sequel special in the works, once you make a movie like this you should be done being a role model for the little girls that watch the Disney channel shows. Nothing against Selena, I wish her great success as she transfers into adult roles. But I am team Miley on this one, Oh and yes the salvia issue happened after Miley was done with the Disney Channel.
