According to The CW’s official description for the episode, titled “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” Damon and Elena accompany Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Professor Shane to the cabin to help Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) “conquer some dangerous inner demons.” Like I said, it’s not inherently romantic, but I’m sure Damon and Elena will figure out a way to make it hot.
Here are 4 more spoilers from the holiday episode:
1. Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) butt heads with Tyler (Michael Trevino) over the best way to deal with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his hybrids.
2. Caroline also clashes with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who is “not on board” with her plan.
3. Klaus discovers something that “leads to chaos and violence.”
4. While at the cabin, Professor Shane “reveals a piece of ancient history that leaves them all speechless.”
