Fans may be mourning, but it seems Edward Cullen himself is ready for the vampire saga to end. Read on for the juicy details!
Robert Pattinson is confessing his delight that the Twilight movies are finally coming to an end. In a recent interview with French magazine Gold Stars, Rob told readers that he’s “very happy, not that it stops, but that it is reaching the end.”
“I remember when we shot the first movie, we were all stressed out by the idea that there would be no success and that we wouldn’t shoot more of the saga,” Rob revealed.
Clearly Rob’s fears were put to rest, as fans were overjoyed with the films!
Rob also shared how excited he was that Bella and Edward’s love grew stronger in the final installment.
“They will get closer as a couple,” Rob added. “They know they will now be able to spend eternity together.” So cute!
Clearly, Rob is sentimental about his vampire alter-ego and his on-and-off screen love, Kristen Stewart.
“It is an extraordinary adventure that we have experienced, I am happy to be a part of it,” Rob said about Twilight. We couldn’t agree more, Rob!
We absolutely love Twilight and are sad to see it finally ending. But what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you sad Twilight is ending?

Rob Pattinson and the rest of the cast can move on as adults, developing other interests and working on new projects. Hopefully, some of the madness with papz and fans will die down. Anyway, they won’t be stuck or restricted to only Twilight junkets. I am sure they are looking for some peace. Twilight saga will always be special to some, due to the effort of dedicated cast and crew.
You know alot of people knock Kristen and Rob’s acting ability, but you have to admit they both did a stand up job playing Bella and Edward, gosh most people can’t get it out their heads that they are just actors playing these parts, some of these fans think this is “real”, so obviously they did a really good job. Yes it’s sad to see it end, but we will all be able to see Rob and Kristen in other movies and enjoy their work. I wish them both well in their futures, together or not, I will support both of them!!
Wishing everyone on the East Coast a safe journey thru Hurricane Sandy!
I’m sure they are ALL GLAD for it to be ending. I BET they’re exhausted, poor things!!
It’s TOTALLY BELIEVABLE for Rob to have given Kristen another shot. MOST people who go through this ARE still in LOVE. I’m PROUD of him for hot throwing something away that still MIGHT work out. That COULDN’T have been an EASY thing to do, especially with all the JUDGEMENTS flying around about them BOTH – previously and NOW. All this is OBVIOUSLY a publicity stunt but not necessarily one Kristen, Robert or ANY of their Twilight FANS volunteered for. Hollywood did this JUST to cause them PAIN so they could make money off the TEARS of YOUNG GIRLS! You KNOW these Twilight OVER-obsessions were PREVENTABLE! TIME to put blame where it belongs – Stephenie Meyer’s PUBLISHER and PRODUCTION companies for their professional negligence in allowing Twilight to be published and produced in SUCH an addictive way. Robert Pattinson has stated quite clearly that he does NOT like the Twilight Saga but that he is grateful for it.
