Rob: Put your pride aside and be there for Kristen during this difficult time — her parents are getting divorced and she needs your support!
Kristen Stewart‘s mother Jules Stewart filed for divorce from her husband of 27 years, John Stewart, on August 17. Even though Kristen broke Robert Pattinson‘s heart by cheating, he needs to be there for her in this trying time.
Rob — I know you’re heartbroken, upset, frustrated, angry and probably feeling a whole other range of emotions after Kristen was caught cheating on you with her married SWATH director Rupert Sanders.
But as a child of divorce, I can identify with Kristen, and she needs you to be there for her.
Her mom and dad have been separated since June 15, 2010, meaning that Kristen has been dealing with this strain privately for quite some time. Rob is probably the person she told her secrets to — what she was thinking and feeling about her parent’s relationship. Even if Robert doesn’t want to talk to her because of what she did to hurt him, he needs to come to her side as a friend.
Although Kristen’s parent’s problems may have been a factor in why she cheated on Rob, it’s not an excuse. Either way, an official legal filing for divorce is a difficult thing to grasp — and now more than ever, Kristen needs people surrounding her who love her.
When we asked you if you think Rob will comfort Kristen after the divorce news broke, 72 percent of you think he will. I agree — and I think he should. It’s the right thing to do.
Divorce is traumatic, especially for Kristen, who is such a private person. She needs someone she can trust to confide in and talk to about her life.
Rob doesn’t need to be a boyfriend for Kristen right now, he just needs to be a friend. Who knows where their relationship is headed, but right now, all Kristen needs is a shoulder to cry on, and I think Rob should be the support Kristen probably so desperately needs.

Some people don’t know how to count, a relationship is between 2 people, mind your own damn business. just leave them alone. it’s already hard for both of them . they don’t need other people to make it even harder. why do people act like they’re in that relationship?

I’m sorry but I have absolutely no sympathy for her whats so ever. Shes being made into a victim and its pissing me off. People make mistakes, i get that, I will never understand how u can cheat on someone you “love”

Why should he have to put aside his feelings for her? She made her bed now she has to lay in it. She did him wrong, let him move on and heal. Stop making him look bad for being heart broken and telling him to put it aside. It’s not that easy to turn off emotions.

Well she’s cheating, but what does that have to do with you? It’s between her and Rob. just note: I’m against cheating, but I am for forgiveness and if love existing at all between them I am for the an attempt to building of a new trust. It would be good for her and for him. But it depends only on them

Everyone needs to chill out. What gives you the right to Judge anyone. What are you Judge and Jury. Kristen has had 2 years to get use to the idea that her parents weren’t going to get back together maybe even more. If it was me I wouldn’t care less. Her mother doesn’t care about her and never has. Her mother wasn’t there when kristen had her hands and feet in cement outside that Chinese place. Her Father was. Both her parents were shocked when she did what she did and they sided with Rob. If her mother cared about her daughter she would be there for her and she isn’t and hasn’t been since this scandal broke. Also when Kristen was 17 and doing twilight she was still a minor wasn’t her mother suppose to be there on set with her and she wasn’t she left her in Catherine Hardwicke’s hands. What sort of mother was she not a very good one by the sounds of it. It sounds like Kristen was more adult than her parents, she decided not to stay at her parents home because she didn’t want the paparazzi staking out her parents house so she decided to find somewhere else to stay. I didn ‘t read that her parents said it was ok and that she was their daughter and that she could stay as long as she wanted. If her parents were separated anyway what difference would it have made. Also what happens people if Rob decides to forgive Kristen and take her back how will you all react then. This is Rob’s decision and not yours. Your opinion doesn’t matter and never has don’t you get that. You can sprout off your mouths as long as you like but it doesn’t make a difference and it never will. If he still loves her and misses her only Rob can decide what he wants to do.If he decided to be there for her for this that is his decision not yours.
Why can’t HL let this go. It’s old and it has been 6 weeks now. But I guess they will keep it going until BD2 promotions. But I read on the Examiner site that Rob is not going to attend BD2 Promotions and the studio is really worried about it. What is Rob’s problem now. Jeez he is acting like a spoilt petulant little boy and needs a good kick up the backside to wake him up.

She is a tough girl,She needs no body except those who really loves her to be there,not someone stand to watch her sufering and do nothing like Rob.Move on kristen you do not need him as much as he do not need you anymore,Find true supporting love and am sure that you will be faithfull for him as much as he will supports & be there for you.

Rob and Kristen ,Cast and Crew gave 5years to bring Twilight to life which they have,the lead rolls
1Kristen gave up her teen years which are a learning curve for most adolescents ie the way to behave in public and experience boyfriends and brake ups.
2Rob a bit older did go back to college and take his exams so was a little more experienced in life as a whole but did still see mates and have girlfriends.
On set together for 5 years more or less lived with one another for 4 years almost like being married with young cast around to keep them happy and entertained.
Real life on their own ,watched every minute of the day no spontaneity couldn’t even walk side by side together no let up from press.Both actors trying to lose Bella and Edward names ,put all their efforts into work , no time together away to enjoy one another so became complacent ,lazy not bothering to make an effort ,both looked like they had just got out of bed unkempt not like normal people who actually look clean tidy shaved make up on a date.Time away from one another took its toll and hence the situation they are now both in.
Rob obviously wasn’t there when Kristen needed him and sleaze bag Sanders stepped in and took advantage.Rob completely heartbroken as we all saw by those interviews best bit of acting he has ever done but to his credit he got through them .Kristen after her public apology ,big mistake,has kept her dignity by saying nothing and keeping a very low profile .
It will take time for them to sort this out ,unfortunately BD2 is putting unnecessary pressure for a quick answer but the way the so called fans are behaving is inexcusable there are no sides in this ,just two very upset and hurt people inside trying to understand what happened to their loving relationship and how to put it right without interference from outsiders .
Until a proper joint statement is made by Rob and Kristen themselves every thing is hearsay,or if they are seen again side by side they may not actually say anything they have never discussed their private life so why should they now.Its a case of wait and see its two peoples lives here not fantasy fiction.

I guess they stopped talking about Katy Perry dating Rob when she was spotted with John Mayer last week. The tabs and gossip sites will do anything to get people hooked on this drama and milk everything they can for it. Funny how both Rob and Kristen hasn’t said a thing during these 2 mths.
yes they stopped talking about katy perry and rob because of john mayer but katy perry is just using him to get the heat off of her rob will be at the vma’s and it will be because of katy perry they are together.katy perry is one of the big reasons kristen and rob are no longer together paps were even calling kristen katy when she arrived at lax from paris and australia give kristen a break
