Jennie Garth — How She Lost 20 Pounds in 3 Months

Jennie Garth has lost 20 pounds since her divorce at the end of March and looks totally fabulous! Find out how she’s working hard to maintain her new healthy body!

Jennie Garth, 40, is definitely not letting a depression situation get the best of her — since her divorce from Peter Facinelli, she’s been eating healthy and using her 7-acre property to her advantage by running, hiking and riding her horse!

On an Aug. 8 trip to New York, she stepped out in size-26 skinny jeans. “I’ve been certainly going through a transitional time in my life. And I think anybody who has been through something like what I’m going through … can definitely relate that your body changes with your emotional state of mind.”

The change has not been easy, and Jennie has worked hard for her new figure. “We have so many fruits at our ranch where we’ve been living so [we have] been eating healthy.” Jennie cooks nutritional meals like grilled salmon and chicken with sautéed spinach or sweet potatoes.

She also works out at Cold Iron Barbell gym three times a week. “We don’t use machines here,” co-owner Shannon Stewart tells Us Weekly. “It’s all free weights. We like to do circuits: She’d push over a tractor tire, then do push-ups, then jump rope, do deadlifts and run for a bit.”

“She loves how her new body looks and she just feels healthier, which is most important,” Stewart continues.

We’re happy to hear Jennie is working hard the old-fashion way to keep her new fabulous figure!
