‘RHONJ’ Recap S4X2: Ashley’s Kicked Out Of The House

Ashley’s gone for good, Teresa apologizes to everyone and Melissa has a big surprise for Joe on the April 29 episode of ‘RHONJ’!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey started with troubled Ashley Holmes packing her bags for Vegas.

And she wasn’t getting ready for a short trip with her friends, she was preparing to go away indefinitely. Jacqueline Laurita and her husband Chris were sending her away to shape up and said she’s not welcome back until she has a plan to straighten out her life. And of course, the irresponsible 20-year-old misses her flight — which was the last one out that day — and was forced to go back home. Yikes! And during this time, all Ashley could think about was having a drink. She wasn’t even concerned she missed her flight!

Eventually at the end of the episode, Ashley went to the airport for a second time — drugged up on Xanax. Whether or not she made it, we’ll find out next week, but one thing is for sure — this is extremely difficult on Jacqueline. She understandably broke down quickly after Ashley left.

In the middle of all the madness, Housewife Melissa Gorga was taking her music career to a new level. She wrote a song for her husband Joe Gorga and had him listen to it for the FIRST time. And the tune was pretty catchy. Melissa really has a pretty voice. I’m assuming Joe really gave her the poison they were talking about — yuck!

Teresa Guidice apologized to all the women again during the episode for the comments in her cookbook, but they didn’t really feel it was sincere enough. In fact, Richie Wakile made a joke about it asking Teresa if she was going to take the books off shelves and reprint them. I frankly thought that was sort of rude.

Caroline Manzo managed to stay pretty drama-free this episode as she helped her daughter Danielle focus on losing weight.
