Jenelle decided to splurge on some new ear gauges. Shouldn’t she be buying Jace Christmas presents or using her money to set up a college fund?
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has enough on her plate. She’s trying to complete a double probation sentence which includes weekly drug tests and she’s trying to get custody of her 2-year-old son Jace back from her mom Barbara Evans. Jenelle has to pay for college and the rent of her house. While she gets a salary from MTV, wasting her money on new ear gauges isn’t the smartest idea.
Jenelle got “new gauges” put in her ears on Dec. 15 and excitedly shared a picture of them on her Facebook fanpage.
Jenelle, why are you wasting your money buying such unnecessary objects? And forget about the fact that you have better activities you could be doing with your time. Doesn’t Jace need Christmas presents, and aren’t you supposed to be studying for finals?
Plus, sorry Jenelle, but ear gauges are not attractive!
Kailyn Lowry, Jenelle’s co-star, recently complained that as teen moms, they sometimes don’t have enough money to buy diapers. Well, if that’s true, then these girls need to figure out how to allocate their money more wisely.
Instead of buying superfluous accessories — like Jenelle’s ear plugs or Kailyn’s tattoo — these girls should be spending their money on their kids. Or if they have extra funds, how about setting up college accounts for their babies? Who knows what the future holds or how long MTV is going to front their petty splurges.
It’s better to save now thann spend the little extra that these girls have. HollyMoms, don’t you agree?

First off as someone one plugs it offends me that you find them so gross, number 2 you can get a pair of plugs for $5 at some places! Im a single mom and always put my son first but spending a few dollars on myself wont hurt anything. You’re obviously not a mom.do your homework on cost of plugs and how hard it is to be a single mom. Sometimes we need to spend a little time or money on ourselves. I cant stand people who act like a mom is selfish if she spends a freakimg penny on herself!
