Ashley admits in her blog that she was sad to see Constantine go after she tried so hard to make it work with him, but she knew he wasn’t feeling a connection with her!

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert tried hard to find a connection with Constantine Tzortzis during the July 25 episode, but it just wasn’t there. Because of the lack of a romantic feelings for Ashley, Constantine decided to dump her and head back to the United States from Fiji. In her personal People blog, Ashley confesses that Constantine’s sad goodbye did not catch her off guard because she knew that he just wasn’t feeling it!

“After such a great hometown date, I was excited to see Constantine again,” Ashley writes. “Our relationship moved a lot slower than I wanted, and at this was a critical time for us. We needed to use this date to figure things out.”

But Ashley could tell that Constantine just wasn’t there. “Throughout most of the date, I felt a huge disconnect with him,” she admits. “I quickly realized I was holding out and looking for a romance between us that will never be there.”

“I wanted to use the rest of our date to see if things would be different,” continues Ashley. “Our conversation at dinner quickly touched upon both of our concerns, and though I was willing to use every last minute to see if time was what we needed, Constantine didn’t surprise me by saying goodbye.”

Ashley wasn’t crushed by Constantine’s departure, but it did make her fear that Ben Flajnik or J.P. Rosenbaum weren’t falling in love either. “One might think that because it was so late in the process that I would be devastated, but I wasn’t,” she explains. “It only made me fear that if Constantine could be unsure about us this late in the process, could Ben or J.P. feel the same?”

Still Ashley found passion with J.P. and Ben F. And even though Ryan Park returned to try and win Ashley back, she didn’t give in or regret sending home the first time — because she knew her feelings for Ben and J.P. were stronger than for Ryan.

“Once I was able to spend time with each of the remaining guys, I knew that I had found what I was looking for within them,” says Ashley. “So, once again I had to say goodbye to Ryan. Saying goodbye a second time was not much different than the first. It broke my heart.”

BFFs — were you surprised that Constantine decided to leave on his own terms?

A Dam

How anyone can spend five minits with Ashley and not run screaming from the room, is not to be understood. First, there is the quality of her voice; annoying, pitched to grate on the ears/nerves; she talks too much and like a baby, she’s high maintenance; ok, I don’t like her and did not watch the show because of her. I felt sad for Ben, but I’m glad it is not he whom she will hurt in due time. This thing with Rosenbloom will not last. Both are too shallow and self-seeking to make a true commitment possible. Her falling for the worst guy bently immediately on sight, tells me from where her mind operates and it isn’t the one she supposedly has in her head. One word pronouncement on her = slut.

Constantine is so ugly and his personality is blend. I don’t know why she kept him for so long. There were much better guys in the bunch but then she proved to be a really bad judge of character. Bently or what’s his name was a sleaze ball and she fell for him.
