The ‘Single Soon’ songstress looked stunning in her unique red gown.
Selena Gomez looked undeniably ravishing in a red tattered gown on the red carpet at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The “Single Soon” songstress, 31, accessorized with sparkling rings and a matching set of earrings. She paired the dress with matching red stiletto heels.
The Only Murders in the Building actress has been embracing a stylish week so far. Hours ahead of music’s biggest night, Selena posted a photo of herself to Instagram rocking a stunning black one-piece swimsuit.
Selena recently released her newest track, “Single Soon,” in addition to working on more music that is yet to come.
“Thank you guys for all the love on Single Soon!!!” the Disney Channel alum captioned an Instagram post in August. “It’s a playful anthem about being comfortable in your own skin and loving your own company … and it’s also really fun to dance to!”
With her upcoming album in the works, Selena teased her fans that the record will mainly feature upbeat and happier songs, rather than anything sad.
“There’s not one sad song on my album,” she said during a September 1 interview on SiriusXM. “And I don’t mean that in a way, like, everything is not full of meaning, because I think even the most poppy songs can have heart, and I want that to come across. But I genuinely don’t feel like I have anything in me to write something negative. It just doesn’t match with where I am anymore.”
When touching on the past difficulties she encountered in her personal life, Selena joked, “I just know that I have a better idea of the hot mess that I am, and I can deal with it.”
“I went through a really tough time, and it was a lot of emotional stuff going on in my head and in my life,” the “Lose You to Love Me” artist added. “And I just feel like it took a lot of work, and that’s therapy, and that’s surrounding yourself with good people and figuring out, who am I?”
No matter what music she creates, Selenators are ecstatic for the pop star, as she is nominated for four VMAs, including “Song of the Year.”
