Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had a very merry Christmas despite their reported marriage troubles. The two reportedly spent Christmas together, according to TMZ, along with their four children — North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1. Not only was the couple under the same roof during the holidays, they also exchanged expensive gifts!
The rapper turned Christian artist, 43, gifted the SKIMS mogul, 40, a whopping five Maybachs — cars adjacent to the Mercedes Bends brand. The SUVs can run upwards of $200,000, per the outlet, which means that Kanye likely dropped nearly $1 million on gifts for his wife of six years. But Kim also gave her husband a present just as extravagant as Kanye’s!
Kim gifted Kanye a number of James Turrell art pieces, according to TMZ. Kanye is a major fan of the artist, and the pieces likely al together cost just over $1 million. As fans already know, Kim shared a series of images with her youngsters from her family’s annual Kardashian Christmas get together. Kim looked stunning in her green ensemble, while her kids appeared beyond excited to see what Santa Claus brought them. Following the holidays, however, circumstances appeared to turn south for the couple.
On January 5, a series of reports circulated that Kim and Kanye were enduring marriage struggles, and worse, they might be heading for divorce. “He knows that she’s done. She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future,” a source shared with People in one of the initial reports. “[Kanye’s] okay. He’s sad, but okay. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon,” they added.
Kim and Kanye have had their ups and downs before, but they have always come out stronger. Over the past few months, they’ve worked on their relationship and seemingly become closer. Fans are surely encouraged to learn that the two might have enjoyed the holidays together, but they may have to endure more difficult decisions as 2021 gets underway.
