Brad Pitt, 52, may be allowed custody of his and Angelina Jolie, 41,’s children, but they are still battling out who gets more custody, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY. Kelly Chang Rickert told Hollywoodlife.com: “If you read the emails released in the latest court papers Angelina clearly ignores his requests to see the kids after Brad asked for more monitored visits,” custody expert and lawyer Kelly Chang Rickert tells us. “Instead of agreeing she is deferring to therapists forcing him to bring a motion to get more time. Angelina and her lawyers are clearly ignoring his requests from him and his lawyers when they were reasonable enough.” Wow.
This breaks our hearts to hear, and unfortunately, the ex couple’s oldest children might be the most affected. “Brad specifically asked for more monitored time with the kids (30-60 minutes more per week) and Laura Wasser did not answer,” Kelly continues. “Then she said, ‘Let’s just go with the therapist’s suggestion.’ The longer they go without time with their dad the more they will get used to this and it becomes the status quo. It is entirely possible that the older two boys, Pax and Maddox, are alienated from him just now and they will need more time, not less, to remedy this. Angelina’s strategy seems to be to give him as little as possible which is a form of ‘parental alienation syndrome’. Sadly, that appears to be what is happening in this situation now.”
As we previously told you, Brad was not invited to Pax’s 13th birthday party at Angie’s home in LA back in Nov., according to Us Weekly. This broke our hearts to hear. We just hope that Brad and Angelina set aside their differences and think of what’s best for their children.
