Justin Bieber, 22, decided to have a little fun and play in a beer league pickup game where the L.A. Kings hockey team practices. It wasn’t all fun for JB, though. In the video, courtesy of TMZ, one of the hockey players on the opposing team breaks Justin’s stick in the heat of the moment. You can see Justin, repping #23, heatedly skating around the ice after the dirty play.
He rolls up to the player who broke his stick, and they nearly come to blows on the ice. The referee has to pull Justin and the player apart so they won’t throw punches! Justin skates off to the other side of the rink to let off some steam. We all know hockey games can get pretty intense, and we all know the Biebs loves to win!
Justin loves a good, competitive game of hockey. “I love hockey,” Justin said in a 2010 interview. “I played hockey all my life.” The Canadian pop star’s favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Over the years, the Biebs has been seen at a number of hockey rinks. Back in Oct. 2016, while on his Purpose tour, Justin stopped by the Altrincham Ice Rink in the UK to play a little ice hockey with Manchester Storm.
The singer has a little bit of time on his hands now that his world tour is over. He will be hitting the stage again in the summer of 2017 for his stadium tour. We’ll probably be seeing Justin on the ice a lot more now that he’s got a bit of a break!
