Taylor Swift, 26, and Zayn Malik, 23, have set the internet on fire with their new song, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” for the new Fifty Shades film! After the song dropped on Dec. 8, fans went wild and it hit the No. 1 spot on the iTunes charts after just one hour. Now Jack Antonoff, 32, has tweeted some insane news!
The musician, singer/songwriter and good friend of Taylor’s tweeted that he basically made the epic collaboration happen. He revealed on his Twitter that “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” was produced and recorded inside his own home in the time span of just one week. WOW!

The behind-the-scenes intel didn’t stop there. Jack also dished that it was produced “mostly on paper sounds,” and was written by Tay, Sam Dew, and himself. How cool is that?!

Revealing that producing a song in just one week was something he’s never done before, Jack admitted that Zayn wasn’t even present for the making of it. He tweeted that Zayn had just sent his parts of the track all the way from LA! Isn’t it nice to live in 2016?
We can’t stop listening to “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”. Zayn and Taylor take turns singing on the verses, but their voices come together beautifully for the chorus. The rest of the soundtrack is sure to be awesome, if this is any indication!
