Their romance didn’t start until many years after the two first met on the set of That ’70s Show. Even after the series came to an end, the expectant mother and her hubby didn’t go further than casually keeping in contact over AIM. (Ah, throwback!) It was when Ashton ended his marriage with Demi Moore, 53, that things finally started to heat up.
The Bad Moms star said that while at an awards show, she laid eyes on him again in the MOST adorable way. “I see this guy, and I see his back, and he’s really tall,” Mila said about the start of her love affair with Ashton, during a July 19 interview on The Howard Stern Show. “Then, he just turns around, and it was literally like if we were in a movie. The music would start playing and the violins would go… I think for the first time ever he took my breath away… I was like f—k, he’s good looking.” OMG, we hear the violins, Mila!
After that, the Jobs star invited the actress over for a house party, though he was actually planning on setting her up with a friend! Thank God, when Ashton saw her, all bets were off. “Long story short, I didn’t leave until the next morning,” she told Howard Stern. WHOA. The Black Swan star said she did want to call an Uber and leave early that morning, because “[it was the] the first time I ever slept over while I was single.” But clearly there was a reason she stayed.
“We started dating with the idea we both were never going to get married,” Mila said. But even though the couple hilariously agreed to “live out” their movies — the shockingly similar Friends With Benefits (Mila’s) and No Strings Attached (Ashton’s) — fate had other plans for them. The two became more and more serious, eventually bringing home their first child in October 2014, Wyatt Isabelle, tying the knot in July 2015, and announcing in June 2016 they were expecting their second child. Now, be honest, you’re totally bawling right now, aren’t you?
