It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July without the amazing Boston Pops orchestra and their annual holiday concert and fireworks display. You’ll be thrilled and amazed by their outstanding talent matched up with the patriotism of the day, along with special performances by Demi Lovato, 23, and Nick Jonas, 23. Scroll through to find out how you can watch the spectacular celebration via Live Stream!
The Pops — affectionately known as “American’s Orchestra” — are in their 131st year as a group and have been under the direction of Keith Lockhart for the past two decades. The Pops will perform their annual Fourth of July extravaganza live from the Esplanade along Boston’s Charles River for yet another epic holiday concert, which will air live Monday, July 4 from 9:00–11:00 PM ET (tape delayed to 9pm for the West Coast). The two hour concert will not only feature the amazing work of the Pops, but nick and Demi will be taking a brief break from their “Future Now” concert tour to entertain the Fourth of July audience with the orchestra. We can’t wait to see what they’ll be performing and if they play together or separately. We totally hope Demi knocks out her brand new single “Body Way” that she just released June 30, but we have a feeling they’ll stick to something a little more fit for the holiday….something like “Cool for the Summer” would be absolutely perfect.
Award winning country group Little Big Town will also be performing during the two hour telecast, which will be hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell. The actual fireworks portion should kick in around 10:30pm EST.
