Adam Levine and his Season 10 The Voice finalist, Laith Al-Saadi, both appreciate music to the highest degree, so when they came together for a duet on the show’s May 23 episode, it was nothing short of fantastic. The musicians showed off their skills AND vocals for their performance and we absolutely loved it!
The guys sang “Golden Slumbers,” “Carry That Weight” and “The End” during their medley, and of course, Laith made sure to also show off his skills on the guitar, of course, while Adam took the drums. Their voices definitely complimented each other well, just like their beards musical instrument playing. After finishing on the drums, Adam joined him with his sick guitar skills and they pretty much just showed off their sick skills!
It’s no secret that Laith doesn’t exactly fit the image of a mainstream artist in 2016, but his fans have pulled through for him week after week, and helped him land a spot in the finals against Alisan Porter (team Christina Aguilera), Adam Wakefield (team Blake Shelton) and Hannah Huston (team Pharrell).
As we previously reported, though, the 38-year-old was this close to not even auditioning for the show! “I had my reservations at the beginning of this,” he admitted. “But I am so happy I made the choice to actually do it.” Stream Laith’s songs on Amazon Music HERE.
Besides the duets with their coaches, each singer is performing an original song, as well as one final cover, for their finale performances. Then, after another jam-packed night, a winner will be named at the very end of the May 24 episode — who do you guys think it’s going to be?!
