Now that Ted Cruz, 45, and John Kasich, 63, are out of the running for the GOP nomination, there’s a very real chance that the former supermodel will become first lady of the United States. Sorry Heidi Cruz and Karen Waldbillig Kasich, but Melania is the official first lady of the Republican party. After a crushing loss in the Indiana primary on May 3, Ted decided he no longer had “a viable path to victory” and dropped out, followed by John on May 4. That means Donald is the official candidate, and, if he wins, Melania will be the first lady.

Who knows how a Trump presidency could write history? There may be a lot of changes coming out way, but the first supermodel first lady would be a big one! Donald’s wife of 11 years started modelling when she was just 16 living in her home country of Slovenia. She modelled in Milan and Paris before heading to NYC to make her dreams come true.

Melania has covered dozens of magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Vogue and Allure, but it was her sexy posing for GQ and Sports Illustrated that made her an international sex symbol. During that time, in 1998, she met and began dating Donald. They dated until 2005 when he proposed.
