John Mayer simply can’t believe that Katy Perry is gone, although it’s his fault for letting her go. The singer is reportedly doing everything he can to win her back, including proposing to her … over the phone! Her response is shocking and you won’t believe what she said to her ex when he popped the question, despite her budding relationship with Orlando Bloom!
“He [proposed] over the phone,” a source tells Star. “He told her he was ready to buy her a Cartier ring and down on one knee. He still calls and texts her all the time, and when he popped the question she couldn’t believe it.” Wow, but did she accept his proposal? Nope! It turns out she’s been ignoring him! “She pretty much laughed him off the line,” the insider continues. “But Katy’s so tired of John’s love’ em and leave ’em shtick, and she told him that she can see a real future with Orlando. John sounded stunned but he had this coming!” We most certainly agree!
Meanwhile, Katy and Orlando are heating up! We told you that they were spotted in Malibu on March 21, and they were kissing! Click here to see the romantic pics! “They looked very loved up and were paying more attention to each other than the view,” an eyewitness revealed to E! News. The couple were dressed casually while Orlando’s dog sat on the ground in front of them and we can only imagine they were there to watch the sunset. However, it seems as if they got majorly distracted by each other as they were seen lip-locking for “a couple of minutes.”
They also went to Disneyland recently and they were spotted holding hands and kissing — so cute! “Orlando and Katy were very hands-on with each other during their trip to Disney,” an eyewitness told E! News. “They were like little kids. It seemed like they were married the way they were acting with each other. They were holding hands and Orlando sneaked a kiss on one ride. They looked happy and in love. Katy loves Disney. She has been there countless of times”
