Is Kyrie Irving, 24, letting allegations that his girlfriend, Kehlani, 20, cheated on him with ex PARTYNEXTDOOR get in his head?! That’s his Cleveland Cavaliers teammate, LeBron James’, biggest fear heading into the team’s March 29 game — so he’s helping the up-and-coming basketball star in every way he can, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. Get the scoop here!
“LeBron and Kyrie have an up and down friendship, but LeBron is privately supporting Kyrie because basketball is a mental game,” an insider explains to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “And he wants to make sure that Kyrie’s mind is right leading into the playoffs. LeBron doesn’t want anything to derail Cleveland’s chances on winning a championship and something like this could really do that. LeBron really wants to protect Kyrie from all the questions he will hear from the media. They have already had a few private talks and LeBron is also considering having a private team meeting to make sure everyone is on the same page and giving Kyrie the support he needs.”
In case you’ve missed out on all this drama, fans began going crazy on Twitter when Kehlani’s ex, PND, posted a photo of them holding hands in bed, alleging that she was cheating on the NBA player with him, even though it was unclear when the pic was taken. Following all the insane backlash, the R&B singer allegedly posted (and quickly deleted) a pic to Instagram of her arm filled with IVs in the hospital, admitting she’d attempted suicide.
Things really heated up, though, when the 20-year-old posted and deleted another hospital photo, this one showing her rapper love sitting by her bedside with the caption, “Thank you for saving me.” Wait, so have they really been in contact this whole time?!
In another alleged Instagram post (that, yes, was also deleted), Kehlani revealed that she and Kyrie had gone through a “bad breakup” at the time PND posted the reunion photo on Twitter, so she’s adamant that no cheating happened. However, she’s reportedly very unstable after all the criticism that went down on social media, and has been placed on psychiatric hold after her suicide attempt. So sad.
HollywoodLifers, did you expect that LeBron would support Kyrie like this?
