Gwen Stefani: How To Get Her Half-Up Ponytail On ‘The Voice’

Gwen Stefani headed back to ‘The Voice,’ looking better than ever. Wearing her long blonde hair slicked back in a half up, half down pony, Gwen accessorized with a black scrunchie and stuck to her signature red lip and black cat eye makeup.

Gwen Stefani, 46, may not be a judge on this season of The Voice, but she was still on hand to help judge (and boyfriend) Blake Shelton, 39, advise his singers before the big Battle Round on March 21. Dressed in a black blouse with colorful red, blue and white sequin detailing, Gwen matched her beauty look to her outfit with a black scrunchie wrapped around her half up ponytail and a bold red lip.

Gwen is always trying out new beauty looks to keep things interesting. Whether creating her own totally cool style like her recent half black dip-dye hair or bringing back a retro look, Gwen isn’t afraid to rock a hairstyle that’s completely different from everything else out there. To hear more about Gwen and Blake, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!

For The Voice, Gwen mixed a current hairstyle with a retro one. Keeping her long blonde hair straight and shiny, Gwen’s hairstylist, Danilo, brushed half of her hair back into a tight ponytail that was sat high on her head. To add a ’90s twist to her style, Danilo added a black scrunchie around Gwen’s ponytail, that also happened to match her blouse.

Keeping her makeup classic, Gwen wore a true red lipstick. Makeup artist Mary Phillips, who frequently works with Jennifer Lopez, was behind Gwen’s look, adding a crisp black cat eye and oversized lashes to complete her makeup.

In addition to popping up on The Voice, Gwen has been busy gearing up for the launch of her highly anticipated album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which came out on March 18.
