Harry Hamlin Sparks Outrage From Fans For Wearing Swastika T-Shirt On Halloween

It wouldn’t be Halloween without some controversial costumes! When Harry Hamlin dressed as the Sex Pistol’s Sid Vicious, he certainly looked the part, but his swastika shirt got him into some hot water!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, 52, and her hubby Harry Hamlin, 64, celebrated Halloween with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars on Oct. 30 at George Clooney‘s Casamigos party in Los Angeles. Dressed as the late Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols and his girlfriend Nancy, Harry and Lisa were practically a spitting image of the couple. But Harry opted for one of Sid’s most controversial outfits that featured a swastika, and people weren’t happy!

Both Harry and Lisa were almost unrecognizable in their Sid and Nancy costumes. Wearing a leather jacket and jeans, Harry even managed to find a lock pad necklace just like Sid’s. He also spiked his hair! Yet, despite totally nailing every detail, it was hard for people to look past Harry’s swastika t-shirt underneath his jacket, and deemed his costume super offensive. See some of the angry tweets below!

To look like Nancy, Lisa sported a curly blonde wig, tight leather pants, and a see-through black tank with a leopard-print bra. Although Lisa didn’t have anything offensive on herself, some of her fans were disappointed that she’d let her husband wear a distasteful shirt just for a costume. Considering they were partying with A-listers at George’s bash, it certainly would’ve been interesting to see people’s responses when they walked in!

We definitely love to see celebs like Harry and Lisa getting into the Halloween spirit in original costumes like theirs. But now that they’ve received some backlash for Harry’s bold shirt choice, maybe they’ll go for something a little less risky next year!
