Kylie Jenner & Amandla Stenberg Get Into Nasty Fight Over Kylie’s Cornrows

There’s clearly bad blood between these girls! After Amandla Stenberg posted a comment criticizing Kylie Jenner’s new cornrows, Kylie made a jaw-dropping response, igniting a bitter fight between the teens. Get all the details here!

Looks like we have a new celebrity feud on our hands! Kylie Jenner, 17, debuted her new cornrows on July 11 on Instagram, and Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg, 16, had something to say about it. Once Kylie caught wind of Amandla’s harsh comment, she responded and even brought their mutual connection, Jaden Smith, 17, into the mix! Yikes.

Kylie posted the Instagram photo of her cornrows with the caption: “I woke up like disss.” It didn’t take long for Amandla, best known for her role as Rue in The Hunger Games, to respond. She commented: “@novemberskyys when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter.”

Kylie wasn’t going to let that slide. She replied to Amandla’s comment, “@amandlastenberg Mad if I don’t, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.” Whoa. This is one nasty fight! Kylie feels horrified over the attack. As we all know, Kylie and Jaden were once an item. They were caught making out Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding in May 2014.

The pair has remained friends, even though they’ve gone their separate ways romantically. Meanwhile, Amandla and Jaden went to prom together in May 2015. Jaden wore a trendy shift dress to the high school event.

Amandla has always been outspoken about her opinions. In April 2015, she slammed Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry for using black culture as a way to be “edgy” and “gain attention.” She also blasted Katy for wearing cornrows in her “This Is How We Do” music video. It appears that Amandla is now calling out Kylie for the very the same thing.
