After Andrew Garfield, 31, and Emma Stone, 26, took a break from their four-year relationship in the spring, the former Amazing Spider-Man actor reportedly had a wake up call. So much so that they reunited and now they’re engaged, a new report claims.
“Time away from Emma made Andrew realize she’s the one he wants to make a life and a family with,” a source told OK!. And marriage isn’t the only thing on his mind — he is also interested in having babies in the near future. “I have a longing to be a father myself. A dad is something I’d love to be at some point,” he told an interviewer on June 2.
Whoa — a wedding and a baby? Good for them! There’s nothing better than knowing you’ve found your soul mate. Clearly, Andrew seems to have realized Emma’s the one for him. And breaks aren’t always a bad thing. Other couples who have gotten engaged after breaks include Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, as well as Tony Parker and Eva Longoria.
“When [Andrew and Emma] reunited, Emma told Andrew she needed to take things slowly to rebuild trust, but the truth is, she’s so happy to be with him again. She missed him so much when they were apart. He’s her best friend, and she can’t imagine her life without him. Ultimately, the break opened their eyes to what’s important,” the source added.
That’s so cute! We love that Andrew and Emma found their way back to each other.
