Rob Kardashian: Why He Didn’t Appear On ‘KUWTK’ Bruce Jenner Specials

The recent ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ specials focused on Bruce Jenner’s transition and how he told his family about it, but one person was noticeably absent from the two-part event: Rob Kardashian. And HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned why.

We loved seeing Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner show support for Bruce during his Keeping Up With The Kardashian specials on May 17 and 18. Heck, even Scott and Mason Disick made an appearance. But Rob Kardashian‘s absence was definitely noticed. So why wouldn’t he show some love for Bruce during his emotional transition? Here’s what we know.

Rob Kardashian Not On Bruce Jenner Specials — Why He Didn’t Appear On ‘KUWTK’

“Rob is in rough shape — he has major depression, anger problems, and weight problems. He needs to help himself and not be on a TV show or lend his two cents on Bruce’s transition,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Rob hasn’t appeared on KUWTK at all this season, so his absence from the specials isn’t too surprising. But it would have been nice to see him show Bruce some support. His family, however, is trying to do what’s best for him, and they felt like it was a good idea to keep him away from the “hoopla.”

Kris Jenner & Bruce Jenner’s Fight On ‘KUWTK’: He Thinks She Treated Him Badly

“For all that the Kardashians do for money and ratings, they are thankfully keeping Rob away from all their hoopla and the entire family is hoping that Rob gets the help he needs. He is bitter about the way his life is going. He can’t understand his life right now, so he isn’t going to be talking much about Bruce until he heals himself,” our source adds.
