‘The Bachelor’: Chris Soules Was So Right To Send Kelsey & Ashley Home

Chris Soules pulled a surprise move last night, Feb. 9, when he sent both battling mean girls home after their tense two-on-one date. Chris, you made the right, yet tough move.

Have we ever seen any Bachelor setup with a more terrifying duo than Ashley I. and Kelsey? Well, this was what Chris Soules has to deal with on his “double” date on the Feb. 9 episode! Ashley I. has had it out for Kelsey for the past couple of episodes and Kelsey has been bragging that this show is about “her” love story and that she deserves to have alone time with Chris.

Chris Soules’ Helicopter Date With Double-Trouble

Neither of this pair seems to have any clue heading into their joint date that they aren’t at the top of Chris’ wife wish list, which just goes to show how wrong they would be as his potential wife.

Nevertheless, it was Kelsey who is freaking out the other ladies more.

They and many viewers are convinced that Kelsey’s dramatic panic attack was a desperate play to get a rose after she revealed to Chris that she was a widow.

After all, how could soft-hearted Chris not give a rose to a woman who needed oxygen AND who had just told him that she had lost the love of her life?

So Chris headed off in a helicopter with virgin Ashley, who was convinced she could accomplish getting Kelsey out of the way on their date, and with Kelsey, who we suspect was thinking about her own neediness more than Chris’ needs. These women can’t stand each other, and it was a relief to see that Chris sees through all their manipulations.

Ashley & Kelsey Were Not A Match For Chris

Why Ashley, 26, thought that Chris would appreciate her spending their one-on-one time dissing Kelsey, I don’t know. When was the last time you went on a date with a man who wanted to spend your entire time together, trashing another woman?

Not that Ashley has ever seemed to have anything else to talk about with Chris. All she’s ever done is kiss him and of course she launches into a makeout session before revealing the “truth” about Kelsey being a faker.

You can just see Chris, 33, thinking, “Do I want to be married to nasty girl?” while Ashley’s blabbing that none of the other bachelorettes like Kelsey?

Normally, I wouldn’t approve of a guy immediately or even ever revealing a private conversation to another woman– especially when it’s about “her”, but Chris did have to make a quick decision about who he’s dropping from his potential wife posse.

While Kelsey, 28, actually reacted maturely to Chris’ confession about Ashley’s confession, it was a giant relief to hear him give her a nice heave-ho. Chris was smart to recognize that Ashley’s revelations were based in truth, though he realized that there’s no way she’d make a trustworthy wife.

Too much drama baggage.

Chris: Start Being More Respectful To The Bachelorettes!

I have to admit, I was cheering along with the rest of the bachelorettes when those two drama queens were left standing in the Badlands in Chris’ helicopter’s wake.

But I do have a beef with Chris. His special treatment of Britt, 27, is getting really annoying. Whisking her off to a special Big & Rich concert, while he left all the other girls waiting for his appearance, just wasn’t cool.

It was a rare rude move for Chris, who irritatingly couldn’t seem to keep his hands and lips off beautiful Britt.

At this point, it seems like she’s headed for an engagement ring when he brings her onto the concert stage and gives her a rose in front of the whole crowd.

Burn to the other girls!

Chris — if you’re going to take one of the other girls on a secret date, at least let the rest of your harem know so they can go get dinner or go workout. Anything but sit around waiting for you to eventually show up with…Britt. Ugh!

But then, I guess there wouldn’t be the hurt and agony reactions from the other girls. And this is The Bachelor!

So, HollywoodLifers, were you so glad that Chris dumped both Ashley and Kelsey? Let me know.
