LEONARDO DiCAPRIO

How Many Does He Have?

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most beloved actors of his generation. Ever since breaking into movies in the early 90s, he’s been nominated for his incredible work on screen. But how many Oscars does he actually have?

At the age of 19, Leo was nominated for his first Oscar in 1994 for his role alongside Johnny Depp in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He lost to Tommy Lee Jones.

In 1998,  though ‘Titanic’ was nominated 14 times that year, Leo was snubbed for his memorable role as Jack. Needless to say, fans were not happy.

For over a decade, Leo enjoyed being nominated for many of his best roles in The Aviator (2005), Blood Diamond (2007), and Wolf Of Wall Street (2014). But sadly, he never walked away with the gold. Until…

2016 was finally Leo’s year, as he finally won an Oscar for Best Actor in his role for ‘The Revenant’. A moment well overdue!

To date, Leo’s been nominated for 7 Oscars, with 1 win — but we’ve got hope for him to add to the collection!
