FOOTBALL CHILLI POCKETS

Introducing Football Chili Pockets – they're meaty, crispy, and seriously easy to put together on Super Bowl Sunday.
START WITH THE FILLING: Heat oil over medium heat and add diced onions, bell peppers, and garlic After 4-5 minutes add ground beef.
TIME FOR SOME MORE FLAVOR: Add cumin, chili powder, cayenne, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, Heluva Good! French Onion Dip. Once well combined, set aside to cool.
TIME TO BUILD THE FOOTBALLS: Grab from premade pie dough, thawed, and using a football-shaped cookie cutter, cut dough pieces.
Spoon about 4 tablespoons of filling onto each piece leaving a 1/3” inch border around the edges and sprinkle with cheese.
Brush the edges lightly with egg wash and place another piece of dough right on top pressing down on the edges. Using a fork, press along the edges to crimp and seal them.
Bake them 20-25 minutes in a 400F oven until golden brown! Serve with more Heluva Good! French Onion Dip -- and enjoy the game! Enjoy!
