Scottie Scheffler began dating his now-wife, Meredith Scudder, when they were in high school. The two attended Highland Park High School in Texas and have been together ever since, making them true high school sweethearts. Despite going to different colleges — Scottie at the University of Texas and Meredith at Texas A&M — they maintained a long-distance relationship. After college, Meredith even spent two years in Zambia for an internship, and the couple continued to make it work.
In June 2020, Scottie proposed, and they tied the knot that December in a festive, Christmas-themed wedding.
Since then, their relationship has only grown stronger. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Bennett, in May 2024, followed by their second son, Remy, in March 2026. Meredith made headlines shortly after giving birth when she attended the 2026 The Masters Tournament to support Scottie, bringing their newborn along to Augusta.
While Meredith works in event planning, she’s also Scottie’s biggest supporter and is often seen cheering him on at tournaments around the world.
