Gossip Girl got the updated treatment. A reimagining of the drama focusing on a group of Upper East Side teens premiered e on HBO Max in 2021. The cast included Evan Mock, Eli Brown, Zión Moreno, Jordan Alexander, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Savannah Smith, Thomas Doherty, and Whitney Peak. The new series will focus on a group of New York private school teens being introduced to social surveillance 8 years after the original blogger’s website went dark. Kristen Bell returned as the narrator of the series. The original show starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley.
