Molly Ringwald was the ultimate queen of 80s teen movies, starring in iconic films like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Pretty In Pink. With her gorgeous red hair and killer acting skills, she captured the hearts of audiences worldwide.
Molly started her journey in the entertainment industry with a role in The Facts Of Life before she became a household name in John Hughes’ films. Even in the 90s and 2000s, she continued to slay on the big screen with standout performances in movies like The Stand and Something To Live For: The Alison Gertz Story. After a brief hiatus, she made a huge comeback on the popular TV show Riverdale, a nod to her own rise to fame as a young star.
Not only is Molly a talented actress, but she’s also a committed family woman. She’s been married twice, first to French writer Valery Lameignère from 1999 to 2002 and later to Greek-American writer and editor Panio Gianopoulos, with whom she has three beautiful children.
