The duo met while filming the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass at the beginning of 2020, and though production on the film was halted amidst the coronavirus, the stars still struck up a romantic relationship that spring, following Megan’s split from Brian Austin Green.
The actress starred in MGK’s music video for “Bloody Valentine,” which came out in May. After that, the relationship went public, and they were inseparable all summer long. The couple traveled to Puerto Rico in July 2020 to resume filming the movie, and MGK couldn’t stop raving about his love in the press — often coming up with truly wild quotes. Despite a bump or two in the road, they’ve continued on as one of Hollywood’s most conspicuous couples.
