The ‘That ’90s Show’ season 2 trailer revealed there is a part 3 coming soon! Get all the details about the show, here.
The trailer for That ’90s Show season 2 dropped a major bombshell — the Netflix series already has a part 3! Thanks to the success of season 1, the That ’70s Show spinoff introduced fans to new characters, most of whom are the children of the original Point Place gang. After season 1 ended on a huge cliffhanger between Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) and Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan), the second season appears to have more drama and heartache.
Hollywood Life has rounded up all the details you need to know about season 2 of That ’90s Show.
The trailer, which dropped on June 4, teased a “web of lies” in the new friend group. After Leia and Nate nearly kissed the previous summer, their respective partners seemingly catch onto the secret, and all the drama unfolds.
Ozzie (Reyn Doi) perfectly describes the tone for this season in the trailer. While speaking to Leia in one scene, he says she “should” freak out because she “almost hooked up” with Nate, “didn’t tell your boyfriend, he didn’t tell his girlfriend and now, we’re all stuck in a web of lies.”
In another scene, Leia appears to have an argument with her boyfriend, Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel). Although it’s unclear what exactly happens, she is heard saying, “I’m sick of chasing after you like I’m the only one who needs to apologize.”
Fans can stream the second season on June 27, 2024.
At the end of the new trailer, Netflix revealed that part 3 will be released on October 24, 2024.
According to the season 2 trailer, returning OGs include Laura Prepon on Donna Forman, Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman, Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman, Don Stark as Bob Pinciotti and Wilmer Valderrama as Fez. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are not reprising their roles as Jackie and Michael Kelso, and Topher Grace is also not returning as Eric Forman. The entire original That ’70s Show cast appeared in cameos in season 1, which premiered in January 2023. Danny Masterson has not reprised his role as Stephen Hyde.
