With Luke Newton returning and Yerin Ha joining the series, ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 expands its cast. Here’s a look at who stars this season.
Bridgerton Season 4 is now rolling out on Netflix, with Part 1 having premiered on January 29, 2026, and the remaining episodes set to arrive later this winter. The Regency-era drama continues to blend romance and high-society intrigue, bringing back familiar faces while introducing new ones to the ton. The season centers on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, with Yerin Ha joining the cast as Sophie Baek in a Cinderella-inspired love story.
Below, see the full cast appearing in Bridgerton Season 4.
Thompson returns as Benedict, the artistic Bridgerton brother at the center of Season 4’s romance. This chapter adapts Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman, following Benedict’s unexpected love story after meeting Sophie at a masquerade ball. Season 4 marks his first time as the leading Bridgerton sibling.
Ha joins the cast as Sophie Baek, the mysterious woman Benedict meets while masked as the “Lady in Silver.” Sophie is a maid with a complicated past and a Cinderella-inspired arc — and the character’s surname was intentionally adapted to reflect Ha’s Korean heritage.
“What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles — something that she constantly has to overcome,” Ha told Tudum. “Whether it’s this battle around social status or trying to hide her feelings from Benedict.”
Nicola Coughlan reprises her role as Penelope, now Penelope Bridgerton after marrying Colin. After leading Season 3, she returns in a supporting capacity this season alongside her husband, reflecting on life after Lady Whistledown’s unmasking and navigating her new status in the ton.
Luke Newton returns as Colin, Penelope’s devoted husband. The couple’s dynamic continues to evolve, and their relationship provides a grounded subplot amid Benedict and Sophie’s central romance.
Jonathan Bailey is back as the eldest Bridgerton brother, Anthony. He was absent from Part 1 of Season 4 on release but is confirmed to return in Part 2, maintaining his role as a stabilizing presence in the family.
Simone Ashley returns as Kate, Anthony’s wife. Like Anthony, she does not appear in Part 1 but is confirmed to rejoin the action later in the season.
Claudia Jessie returns as Eloise Bridgerton, whose sharp wit and independent spirit continue to set her apart within society. Eloise remains an important supporting character in Season 4.
Golda Rosheuvel returns as Queen Charlotte, whose influence over the marriage mart and social season continues to shape the ton.
Katie Leung (best known for Harry Potter) joins Season 4 as Lady Araminta Gun, a discerning mother whose daughters — Rosamund and Posy Li — are on the marriage mart this season.
Michelle Mao debuts as Rosamund Li, the ambitious elder daughter of Lady Araminta, positioned as a potential match in the ton and part of the season’s social drama.
Isabella Wei appears as Posy Li, Rosamund’s younger sister.
