Joseph Baena doesn’t miss a workout — even during the holidays! The 23-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger’ took a page out of his dad’s (legendary) book by displaying his bodybuilding poses in a new Instagram photo on Wednesday. Joseph, who wore a mask at the gym amid the COVID-19 pandemic, flexed his upper body muscles in two different photos. He encouraged his followers to close out 2020 on a strong note!
“Let’s finish this year strong people!!!,” Joseph wrote alongside the post before asking fans what they’re “training on” over the holiday weekend. He continues inspire his thousands of Instagram followers with daily gym content and fitness tips. On December 14, Joseph shared a video doing shirtless bodybuilding poses in a parking lot to show his friends how to properly pose — which is a vital skill in the bodybuilding world. He noted that “side chest of the 3/4 post will always be my favorites.”
Joseph has been documenting his bodybuilding journey on social media for months. Fans have pointed out in comments under his posts that his fitness progress is remarkable — and, we couldn’t agree more. Additionally, one person in the comments of his latest post noted that Joseph teaches “master” fitness classes. In a reply, Joseph added that he teaches “shreds” classes.

It’s impossible not to associate Joseph’s fitness journey with his father’s iconic bodybuilding career. Arnold’s history in the bodybuilding world is unmatched. In 1970, at age 23, he won his first “Mr. Olympia” title in New York. The annual event is a professional men’s bodybuilding contest that is held annually by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB). Arnold would go on to win the coveted title a total of seven times. It was his muscular figure, combined with his acting talents, of course, that helped Arnold score prominent movie roles through the years including, The Terminator (and its many sequels), Predator,Commando and many more.
