“Hopping on the trend,” Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) posted to her Instagram on Dec. 22. Hailey, 24, gave her 31.3 million followers a chance to ask her to share things like “The last Dish You Cooked Up In The Kitchen” (macaroni and cheese), oddly specific things like “the 12th of March 2019”, and pictures of her with husband Justin Bieber, 26. One fan asked Hailey to share a pic of the “First time you knew you were in love with jb,” and she obliged. Hailey shared a picture of a shirtless Justin, with his arms around her. While Justin’s face was turned away from the camera, Hailey’s was not, and she was smiling from ear to ear at her true love.
Hailey also shared a “wedding pic we haven’t seen.” The model posted a shot from her and Justin’s formal wedding in 2019. In the shot, Justin makes quite the face while popping a giant bottle of what appears to be champagne. The amount of suds and sparkles in the shot hint that he got a bit too enthusiastic with the opening, but Hailey’s smile suggests it was all in good fun.
At the start of the month, Hailey shared another shirtless picture with her hubby. “Squish,” she captioned the shot, seemingly taken when the two of them were on vacation in someplace warm. Hailey rocked a black bikini top while lounging in her husband’s lap while Justin looked like a total beach bum in a cream-colored bucket hat.
Justin continued the lovefest the next day. The “Yummy” singer shared a picture of his wife posing in a bright pink bikini, a bright blue sky, and a sunny beach in the background. Justin didn’t caption the shot with any words. Instead, he added three heart emojis, showing that he is still wildly in love with his wife two years into his marriage.
Unfortunately for the Biebers, it hasn’t been a total “day at the beach” for them. At the start of December, a fan video urged “Jelena” fans – that means those who still wish that Justin and Selena Gomez were still together – to flood Hailey’s Instagram Live session with comments about the “Lose You To Love Me” singer. Justin and Selena broke up for seemingly the last time in 2018, right before he and Hailey tied the knot, and he addressed the “sad excuse of a human” who told fans to “go after [his] wife.”
“I just wanted to share this so that people get an idea of what we face on a day to day,” Justin posted to his IG story. “It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love the most in this world. It is not right.” Justin then suggested all those who would “spend their time publicly degrading, shaming and trying to humiliate us” to, instead, “lift us up in prayer. We need prayer and support as we continue to put ourselves out there.”
