Meghan McCain, 36, gave fans a glimpse of her baby bump before the arrival of her precious bundle of joy on Dec. 20. The blonde beauty shared a series of throwback Instagram photos that were taken during her pregnancy with her now two-month-old daughter Liberty, whom she shares with husband Ben Domenech, 38, and revealed she gave birth just “a week” after she posed for the snapshots. “11 days left in 2020… the year wasn’t all bad. (Pics from almost a full 9 months and a week before Liberty arrived) ♥️🗽,” she wrote in the caption.
In two of the pics, the mom-to-be looked great while wearing a long black dress that was fitted at the bottom over an open denim button-down shirt. In the other pic, she looked equally as fantastic in a long gray sleeveless dress and black slippers. She had her hair tied back in all three and gave off a casually cool vibe.
Once she shared the epic post, Meghan’s fans quickly took to the comments section to share their joy about the pics. “You look amazing Meghan!!! Thanks for sharing & congratulations!❤️❤️❤️,” one fan wrote. “Amazing! I respected you wanting to keep from the criticism but you are beautiful,” another gushed.
The baby bump pics do come as a bit of a surprise since Meghan was very private about sharing any snapshots while she was going through her pregnancy. She’s also been private about her new addition since her arrival on Sept. 28 and has only shared pics that don’t show the tot’s face. The first was one of her adorably cradling the newborn while smiling for the camera. “Bliss,” she captioned the Oct. post.
When she’s now making headlines due to her baby girl, Meghan’s doing so with her job on The View. Although she took time off from the show when getting ready to give birth, she recently announced she’s returning on Jan. 4. “You guys really know how to make a girl feel missed!” she tweeted last week in response to a fan. “January 4th is my return date. :) Merry Christmas!”
