Just in time for the weekend, hair stylist, Elizabeth Mergler of the Julien Farel Salon, gave us three amazing celebrity inspired hairstyles that are not only super easy, but can all be done at home — how amazing is that? All three looks are perfect for a date night or even a fun night out with your girlfriends.
The first look was inspired by Khloe Kardashian, 32, and Elizabeth said, “For a flirty, yet bombshell look, I always love a half up look with voluminous curls.”
1. Rough dry your hair and apply Julien Farel Flexible Gel to create natural body and volume.
2. Part your hair as you wish.
3. Take one inch sections, and with one inch curling iron, curl the hair tightly.
4. Once finished, flip your head upside down and run fingers through out the hair to break the curls.
Look 2 was inspired by Hailee Steinfeld, 20. “This is a fun yet elegant look that can add a playful touch to any any look!”
1. Rough dry your hair and apply Julien Farel Flexible Gel to create natural body and volume.
2. Part your hair as you wish.
3. Take one inch sections, and with one inch curling iron, curl the hair tightly.
4. Once finished, flip your head upside down and run fingers through out the hair to break up the curls.
5. Beginning at the temples, take two sections and braid your hair, tie the two braids together, overlapping one over the other to cover the pins.
Lastly, Look 3 was inspired by Olivia Wilde, 32. “For a more elegant look, a braided Chignon bun like the one Olivia Wilde is wearing is perfect.”
1. Create three ponytails 2 inches from the nape of your head.
2. Braid each ponytail, then loosen up the braids gently.
3. Take the right braid and place it across the opposite side (left) and the left braid across the right side.
4. The middle braid you can bend and tuck away in between underneath two braids.
5. Use Smooth Crème or any light styling cream to polish away flyaways.
