This is so messed up. Once again, Bridget Malcolm, 25, was forced to defend herself after walking in the “Pink” part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 30. The gorgeous Australian beauty was being bashed online for her very trim figure and being viciously accused of suffering from anorexia. So mean!
“I do not have an eating disorder — or a suit of armour,’ she told The Daily Telegraph on Dec. 2. She’s appalled that people would throw around the term “anorexia” so carelessly. “Eating disorders are a mental disorder and a horrific thing for people and their loved ones to go through.”
Bridget gave one last clap back to the haters: get a life! “There’s a whole world out there beyond your screen,” she snapped. “Go fill your short time on this earth seeing it.” Zing! Bridget makes a really good point though. People spend too much time judging and criticizing women of all shapes and sizes and it needs to stop!
“Whether it’s fat or skinny-shaming, it’s such a superfluous thing to do to someone,” Bridget explained to Stellar magazine. “Can we STOP with the skinny shaming please? I am extremely fit and healthy and am not in the slightest way anorexic. I have worked hard to look like this and am proud of my body. I may not be the curviest but I am a woman who has every right to look the way I do. Maybe today take a look inside yourself and wonder why you feel the need to shame strangers over the Internet about their bodies.” YAS QUEEN!
