Sal Valentinetti Reveals Huge Hopes For Life After ‘America’s Got Talent’

The end is near for ‘America’s Got Talent’ — but what lies ahead? Finalist Sal Valentinetti told HollywoodLife.com he has high hopes after the finale, no matter what happens on the live results show. And he is aiming for the stars.

“I want to bring back the Dean Martin variety show with the musical guests and comedians and the little skits, everything. I think that would be tremendous fun,” Sal Valentinetti revealed to HollywoodLife.com after his September 13 final performance, where he sang “Mack the Knife.”

Of course, he has the personality and charisma that would be awesome for that so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that it’s his goal. He also has a lot of confidence that he will be able to really grow a career after the show, whether he wins or loses.

“I think my chances for success are very very good — not just for the finale, but from now on,” he told us. “I’m going to chase this like it’s never been chased before because like I said, I feel like I’m exactly where I need to be, win, lose or draw.”

Sal, who just turned 21 this week, also said that the show really is “the best birthday present” he could have asked for.

“It’s not just to be on the show, but to know what I want to do for the rest of my life,” he beamed. “I was a pizza delivery guy. I was in school going through the motions, and in a moment, my life changed forever. Win, lose, or draw, I’m America’s next big name in entertainment.”

We couldn’t be happier for Sal and even if he doesn’t win, we have a great feeling about what’s next for him! Do you want to see Sal win it all? Would you want to see a variety show? The finale of America’s Got Talent airs Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 8PM.
