A source tells HollywoodLife.com that when Kristen Stewart, 26, referred to her relationship with Rob Pattinson, 30, as “gross” in an interview with T magazine, she wasn’t taking shots at him. “Kristen‘s intention with talking about her past relationship with Rob had nothing to do with trying to hurt him or disrespect him in any way,” the insider reveals. “The reason she was so candid was to show Alicia [Cargile] how much she loves her and how invested she is in their relationship.” Rob had nothing to do with it!
The insider adds that K-Stew is taking advantage of her ability to open up, now that she and her girlfriend are no longer keeping their relationship a secret. “Kristen feels like she has a new sense of freedom since going public about her love life with Alicia and doesn’t feel the need to hold back like she did in the past,” the source explains. That’s got to be a huge relief for Kristen!
Kristen seemingly blasted her romance with Rob in the magazine interview. “People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn’t real life anymore,” she said. “And that was gross to me. It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.” Now we know that the Cafe Society actress didn’t mean it as a personal offense to Rob, though!
HollywoodLifers, are you glad Kristen wasn’t actually dissing Rob?
