Kanye West, 39, totally outdid himself this time! We’ve come to expect only the most grandiose, extreme events from the rapper, but his June 24 premiere of his “Famous” music video at the Forum took it to a whole other level! That included naked Taylor Swift, 26, Kim Kardashian, 35, Caitlyn Jenner, 60, Donald Trump, 70, wax figures and more. We have all the details, right here.
Kanye’s gone and done it again! He always puts on an amazing show, and his June 24 reveal of the music video for his controversial song “Famous” was no exception! His video was just one still image of him asleep in bed with his naked wife, enemy Taylor, father-in-law Caitlyn, presidential nominee Donald, plus Kim’s ex Ray J, his ex Amber Rose, Chris Brown, Bill Cosby, Anna Wintour, Rihanna, and George Bush. Obviously they’re wax figures, or computer generated, but it looks SO REAL, especially when they all start breathing. We’re freaking out right about now. Chris had one heck of a reaction to the video. The internet is also going CRAZY with hilarious memes.
So, what actually happened tonight. What WAS that? Kanye wrapped up the video by saying “special thanks to…”, naming each celeb, and then saying “for being famous.” Obviously he’s making a statement about fame through art. “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video],” Kanye said to Vanity Fair. “It’s a comment on fame.” So crazy!
Kanye announced the huge event on June 22, and we were fully expecting him to use the opportunity to obliterate Taylor Swift. The announcement came just days after Kim Kardashian once again insisted that Taylor had okay’d the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b*tch famous,” from the song. Taylor has repeated her denial again and again and condemned the rude song, so we thought Kanye would go wild with the hyped-up event. We were SOOO right. That was insane.
