Chris Evans, 34, finally has himself a lady friend, according to a new report! The actor’s new relationship with Jenny Slate, 34, started out as a friendship, but blossomed into something more now that she’s separated from her husband. Awwww!
These two star in the upcoming movie Gifted together, and went on a double date with Chris’ brother back in March, according to Us Weekly. It was just earlier this month that news broke that Jenny had split from her husband, Dean Fleischer-Camp, after three years of marriage. Could her feelings for Chris have had something to do with that decision!?
Chris and Jenny are good pals, and did a joint interview on Anna Faris’ Unqualified podcast just last month. During the session, they both admitted to having a connection with one another, and there was no denying their cute flirtation.
“The first night we hung out I was like, ‘Wow, I could hang out with Chris for like 90 hours,'” the Married star explained, with Chris adding, “Oddly enough, I’ve only known Jenny for a few months, which is insane to say because we’re like the same animal.”
The actor was most recently linked to his on-off love, Minka Kelly, after they were spotted hanging out together once again in Sept. 2015. He’s also been rumored to have dated his Captain America co-star Elizabeth Olsen, although the pair jokingly denied the reports during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
They say the best relationships start out as friendships, and it’s pretty obvious that Chris and Jenny have awesome chemistry. We’re crossing our fingers that this works out for them!
