It appears everyone in Hollywood was touched by the late Heath Ledger in some way. Even though Kendall Jenner, 20, was only 12-years-old when Heath died in 2008, she took a moment to remember him on his birthday, April 4 with a black and white pic of him laughing and flexing his muscles. Exactly the way we all would like to remember the kind soul.
Kendall’s pic had no caption and really there isn’t one needed. It’s been eight years since the Oscar winner died at the age of 28. He was found dead in his SoHo apartment with prescription pill bottles around him. Although they tried to resuscitate him, The Dark Knight star tragically died. Heath sadly left behind his longtime girlfriend, Michelle Williams and their two-year-old daughter, Matilda Ledger, who is now 10-years-old and looks just like her dad.
“For me, for my process, just working straight through it and wrestling through it and working was actually,” Christopher Nolan told EW after working with Heath in The Dark Knight. “I felt very lucky to have something to do…I was very fortunate: I had something very specific to be getting on with — I felt an enormous amount of responsibility to him.” Heath also starred in hits like: A Knight’s Tale, 10 Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain, The Patriot and Lords of Dogtown.
HollywoodLifers, Heath will never be forgotten and we will all make sure to keep his memory alive.
